Loves Shade & Moisture

North facing & damp roof areas often show streaks first.

Final Rinse & Cleanup

Once the treatment is complete, we rinse affected areas, clean up our equipment, and complete a final property walkthrough.

1

Before we clean your roof, we pre-soak nearby landscaping, grass, and exterior surfaces around the home.

Protect the Property

2

We clean asphalt shingles using a low-pressure soft wash method — never damaging high-pressure washing.  A professional cleaning solution is applied one roof section at a time to target black streaks, algae, moss, lichen, and other organic growth.

Let the Treatment Work

The solution is allowed time to dwell on the roof surface so it can break down stains and kill organic growth at the root. This helps restore the appearance of your roof and slows future regrowth.

Most black roof streaks are not dirt or water marks.  They are commonly linked to Gloeocapsa magma, a cyanobacteria that thrives in humid, shaded areas and can spread by airborne spores.  As colonies grow and hold moisture, the dark streaked appearance becomes more visible across the shingles.

Manage Runoff & Protect Landscaping

Throughout the process, we continue rinsing and protecting nearby landscaping as needed. Fresh water, sprinklers, and runoff control help dilute and direct the solution away from sensitive areas.
